John Piasecki, licensed by the state of Maryland as a Waterfowl Outfitter, grew up waterfowl hunting on the upper eastern shore of Maryland and later in southeast Alaska while serving in the Coast Guard. He has been living in the Frostburg area since 1999, where he has been hunting waterfowl on the upper Potomac River and surrounding fields as well as the Deep Creek Lake area. Hard work and dedication define John, and as the founder of Mountain Ducks Guide Service, he will make sure you have an exciting and memorable hunt.

Dave Shafer is a lifelong resident of Allegany County, Maryland. He is passionate about hunting waterfowl with his trusty dogs, Hunter and Hershey (RIP). Without Dave's persistance to establish a duck and goose hunting guide service in western Maryland, Mountain Ducks Guide Service would not exist.

Matt Sell has been hunting waterfowl since 2000, cutting his teeth on wiley old greenheads in southcentral Pennsylvania. In 2004 he moved to the Meyersdale (PA) area and has since been honing his skills on the resident geese and ducks that call southwestern Pennsylvania their home. His eye for a good picture has also afforded him the opportunity to be Mountain Duck's photographer. Check out his website Take Em' Photography for some of his work.

John Sagal is the newest member of the Mountain Ducks team. He only recently started hunting waterfowl, but his grinding work ethic and unfailing desire to find and hunt birds have quickly made him a very successful waterfowler. Along with his scouting contributions, his ever-optimistic attitude and jovial nature make him a pleasure to hunt with.

Parker (aka 'Brown Dog', 'Knucklehead') has been hunting waterfowl with Matt since he was 16 months old and has been retrieving everything from doves to 14 lb resident geese since then! Having several hundred ducks and geese under his belt, as well as hundreds more doves, it is safe to say he knows his job and loves it! Every morning the camo comes out, Parker can be found defending the doorway, with no intention of anyone leaving without him!
