Join Mountain Duck's Licensed Guides for two styles of waterfowl hunting. Decoy hunts typically start in the early morning at sunrise, but some evening hunts are available. Float hunts depart in the late morning or early afternoon and vary in length. We now offer hunts in both Maryland and Pennsylvania, so don't be discouraged if you are from either side of the Mason Dixon!

Dove hunting is also available during the September season and is a great way to finish off a morning waterfowl hunt! This is offered primarily in Pennsylvania, but also in Maryland on a limited basis.

Decoy Hunts:
Conducted from Avery Power Hunter lay-out blinds (provided) or freelance shore blinds
$150 per hunter, with a limit of 4 hunters
Women and children (under 16) hunt for free

Float Hunts:
Conducted from canoes on the Potomac River.
$175 per hunter, with a limit of 2 hunters

Dove Hunts:
Conducted over crop fields, usually from fencerows
$100 per hunter, with a limit of 4 hunters
$50 per hunter, if combined with a waterfowl hunt

All hunters need a current Maryland/Pennsylvania Hunting license, HIP survey, appropriate state and federal waterfowl stamps, camo clothing, shotgun and steel (or other non-toxic) shot. We recommend #1-#4 shot for ducks, #1-#BB shot for geese, and #7-#8 lead shot for doves.
